COIs, elevator reservations, and HOA rules handled first
Most San Diego high-rises and managed communities will not let a moving truck near the dock without a certificate of insurance naming the building and its management company. COIs are standard with us at no charge: send your property manager's requirements and we typically return the certificate within one business day, worded exactly the way the building demands.
We also plan around the reservation itself. If your building gives you the service elevator from 9 to 1, we size the crew so the job fits the window. After 25,120+ moves since 2008, a large share of them in apartment buildings, our office knows most downtown towers' rules before you finish describing them.

Walk-ups and garden-style complexes in North Park, Hillcrest, and Pacific Beach are a different job: stairs, tight landings, and parking strategy. Stairs are simply part of your hourly estimate. We do not tack on surprise stair or long-carry fees after the fact.
