Mira Mesa Movers From Right Down the Street
Our warehouse sits on Consolidated Way, minutes from Mira Mesa Boulevard. When we say local movers, in Mira Mesa we mean it literally.
In Mira Mesa the garage is the real move, and it is the part a phone estimate gets wrong, so Gorilla Movers prices it at the survey. Weekends book out first here, which means dates go early, and while the tract streets are easy the timing is not. MCAS Miramar is next door and military households are routine work. House moves, packing and junk hauling. Licensed CAL T-192729. Call 619-600-5000.
What we already know before we arrive.
The garage is the real move
Mira Mesa's 1970s and 80s tract homes come with two-car garages, and after a decade or two almost none of them hold cars. We plan garage contents as their own phase, and our junk hauling crew can clear what's not making the trip in the same visit.
Weekends book out first
This is a working neighborhood of tech, defense, and healthcare schedules, so everyone wants Saturday. We hold same-week availability when we can, but for a summer weekend in Mira Mesa, two weeks' notice gets you the morning slot you actually want.
Tract streets are easy, timing isn't
Cul-de-sacs and wide driveways make truck access here about the simplest in San Diego. The variable is Mira Mesa Boulevard itself, which crawls at commute hours and weekend midday. Living next door, we route around it on surface streets by habit.
MCAS Miramar is our neighbor too
We share a fence line with the air station, and PCS season keeps our military crews busy on both sides of it. We know the inspection, weight-ticket, and documentation drill that military moves require.
Our home turf, literally.
Every Gorilla Movers truck starts its morning a few minutes from Mira Mesa. Our warehouse is at 7077 Consolidated Way in the Miramar industrial area, which makes Mira Mesa the neighborhood we can reach fastest, quote tightest, and serve on the shortest notice. When a client near New Salem Street books a same-week move, the travel portion of the bill is nearly nothing.
The neighborhood itself is San Diego's classic family suburb: block after block of one- and two-story tract homes built out in the 1970s and 80s, filled today by engineers, defense contractors, Navy and Marine Corps families, and multigenerational households. These are garage-heavy, full-house moves with real accumulation, and they reward a crew that shows up organized.
Rates are hourly like every local job, fuel itemized, written quote within one business hour, and free wardrobe boxes on local moves. And yes, since we're this close, our live-tracking text on move day is usually a short countdown.

“Gorilla movers did a fantastic job moving my mother in Oceanside. Raul was incredible. From the moment he arrived, he was very strategic in how he would complete the job. I had doubts with all of the stuff we had but trusted his knowledge and experience and he exceeded our expectations! They take care of your items, asked a lot of questions and consistently checked in on if there was anything else they could help with. Raul, not sure if we could have done this move without you!! Thank you so much and than you Gorilla movers!! -Jackie, Marty, and Liz”

“I recently moved from downtown San Diego to Rancho Bernardo with Gorilla Movers, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team arrived on time, came fully prepared, and handled everything with a high level of professionalism. Moving out of downtown can be tricky with traffic and building restrictions, but they managed everything smoothly without any issues. They were very careful with my furniture, wrapping and protecting everything properly, and nothing was damaged during the move. What I appreciated most was their efficiency. They worked quickly but never rushed or cut corners. Communication was clear the entire time, and the pricing was fair with no surprises. Overall, it was a stress free move, and I would definitely recommend Gorilla Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and professional team.”
