Comic-Con Logistics & Exhibitor Storage in San Diego

Your booth lives in our Miramar warehouse year-round; every July it rides 15 minutes to the convention center and hits your move-in window on the minute. Storage, receiving, staging, delivery, set-up, post-show strike, and disposal of what's not coming back: one local partner instead of a cross-country freight gamble.

The smartest exhibitors stopped shipping cross-country years ago.

Every summer the same math plays out. Exhibitors freight their booths across the country, pray the truck hits the marshaling yard on time, pay show-site handling on every hundred pounds, then ship it all home to do it again next year. The ones who've done it a few times learn the trick: store the booth in San Diego. Local storage plus a 15-minute delivery beats long-haul freight both directions, every single year, and your crates aren't riding a cross-country trailer with someone else's cargo.

That's the service. Your exhibit, crates, displays, and swag live in sealed storage at our Miramar warehouse between shows. Ahead of the event we receive your new inventory and freight, weeks early, when hotels won't take packages more than a few days out and the convention center refuses anything before the move-in window. We stage it, consolidate it, and deliver everything to your dock window or booth-adjacent drop, timed to your target date. When the floor closes, we pick up the same night, and anything that ships out goes out documented.

What we handle around the show.

Inside the exhibit hall, heavy freight moves through the show's official contractor, that's how union venues work, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is guessing with your booth. Our lane is everything around it, which is most of the job:

Year-round booth & exhibit storage in sealed, racked vaults
Package & freight receiving with photo-logged check-in
Pre-show staging, consolidation & inventory counts
Scheduled delivery to your move-in window or offsite venue
Offsite activation set-up & dismantle with our own crews
In-hall install & dismantle via the show's EAC process, where permitted
Same-night post-show pickup, strike & re-crating
Removal, disposal & recycling of graphics, crates & leftovers
Outbound shipping coordination & carrier handoff

Set-up going in. Strike, removal, and disposal coming out.

Offsite is where our crews shine: hotel takeovers, Gaslamp pop-ups, rooftop activations, and showroom builds anywhere in the county. We deliver, assemble, place, and level, then come back when it ends and strike the whole footprint the same night. Inside the convention center, install and dismantle labor is governed by the show: most shows let you appoint your own contractor through the exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) process in the services manual, and where that's permitted we file the paperwork, carry the required insurance, and run your build with the crew that already knows your crates.

Then there's the part nobody budgets for: the stuff that isn't coming back. Damaged crates, outdated graphics, show carpet, pallet stacks, swag overruns. We haul it out with the same trucks that delivered it, and it gets sorted, not dumped: recyclable material to recycling, usable goods donated, the rest disposed of properly and documented. It's the same crew and disposal pipeline behind our property cleanout work, pointed at your booth.

Between events we run the small stuff too: restock deliveries to hotels and venues, pickups from your office or printer to the warehouse, and one-off runs when a display needs to be somewhere tomorrow morning.

Not just July, and not just the convention center.

The convention center calendar runs all year, and downtown fills with offsite activations every Comic-Con week, Gaslamp pop-ups, hotel takeovers, rooftop events that all need product delivered, staged, and hauled out on tight windows. We run those routes too, along with the other shows on the calendar: trade conferences, expos, and corporate events across San Diego County. If your brand does one activation here a year or six, the storage-plus-delivery model works the same.

Crews are our own uniformed employees, every delivery is live-tracked with a text on run day, and certificates of insurance go to venues and property managers same-day. Independent service, not affiliated with or endorsed by Comic-Con International; we're just the local muscle exhibitors keep on speed dial.

FAQ

Comic-Con & Event Logistics questions, answered.

Can you deliver straight to our booth at Comic-Con?
We deliver to your assigned dock or marshaling window, timed with your move-in slot, inside the hall, material handling runs through the show's official contractor per venue rules. We coordinate the handoff so your freight arrives exactly when your slot opens instead of sitting in a queue.
How early can you receive our shipments?
Weeks early, that's the point. Hotels only take packages a few days out and the convention center refuses early freight, so exhibitors ship to our Miramar warehouse instead. We photo-log everything at check-in, store it sealed, and stage it for your delivery date.
What does booth storage cost between shows?
It depends on footprint, a crated 10x10 booth is a different animal than a two-truck island build. Storage is billed monthly, delivery priced per run, and the whole package is quoted in writing after we see the inventory list. Call 619-600-5000 and we'll price your exact setup.
Do you handle events other than Comic-Con?
Year-round. Convention center shows, hotel conferences, offsite brand activations, corporate events, same warehouse, same receiving-staging-delivery-pickup loop. Comic-Con is just the week we run it at maximum volume.
Can you set up and tear down our booth?
At offsite venues, yes, start to finish with our own crews. Inside the convention center it depends on the show's rules: most shows allow an exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) if the form in the exhibitor services manual is filed by the deadline and the contractor carries the required insurance. Where the show permits it we handle install and dismantle under that process; where it doesn't, we deliver to your window and the official contractor takes it from the dock.
What happens to the stuff we don't want to keep after the show?
Tell us what's not coming back and it never touches your storage bill. We haul out damaged crates, retired graphics, flooring, and leftover swag on the post-show run, then sort it: recycling for recyclable material, donation for usable goods, documented disposal for the rest. You get one line item instead of a dumpster scramble.
