You will also see a line called double drive time on every legitimate San Diego quote. California's Public Utilities Commission requires licensed movers to charge double the drive time between your old address and your new one. In exchange, you are never billed for the crew's travel from the warehouse to your home or back. If the drive from your North Park apartment to your new place in Clairemont takes 15 minutes, you pay for 30 minutes of drive time, and the trip from our Miramar facility costs you nothing.
