We move the hardware. Your IT team keeps the keys.

A server move has two halves. The technical half, backups, shutdown sequence, DNS, the go-live checklist, belongs to your IT team or managed-service provider, and we plan the move with them, not around them. The physical half is ours: every device labeled against a manifest, cabling photo-documented before a single cord is pulled, components packed in anti-static materials and padded transport cases, and racks rolled or de-racked according to what the equipment and the route demand.

Custody is the part most movers hand-wave and we document. High-value assets travel in sealed, numbered containers logged at every handoff, the truck is live-tracked with a text to your project contact, and the same crew that loaded unloads. One rule we hold on every IT job: data protection is done before we arrive, full backups run and sensitive drives encrypted by your team. Hardware is replaceable and insured; your data should never need either.

Moving equipment and materials staged for an IT relocation

Scoped to the room, planned to the hour.

A two-rack server closet and a raised-floor room are different jobs, and the free walkthrough sorts that out before anyone quotes anything. Both get the same structure: after-hours or weekend windows, a labeled teardown that mirrors the reinstall, and a punch-list walkthrough with your IT lead before we call it done.

Cable & port photo-documentation before teardown
Anti-static packing & padded transport cases
Sealed containers with numbered custody logs

FAQ

IT & Server Relocation questions, answered.

Do you handle the network reconfiguration?
No, and you want it that way. Your IT team or MSP owns the technical cutover; we execute the physical move to their plan with labeling and photo-documentation that makes their reinstall fast. We're happy to join the planning call so both halves run off one timeline.
How do you protect equipment in transit?
Anti-static wrap, padded cases, tie-down points that keep racks vertical, and a route planned for the cargo. Every container is sealed and numbered, the manifest is signed at each handoff, and the truck sends a live-tracking text so your team watches the move happen.
Can you move us over a weekend night?
That's the default. Most cutovers load Friday night or Saturday after your team powers down, land the same night, and leave the weekend for your IT crew to bring systems up with margin before Monday.
What should we do before move day?
Three things: run full backups, encrypt anything sensitive, and label-freeze the environment so our manifest matches reality. Your IT lead gets our prep sheet at the walkthrough, it's one page, and following it is the difference between a cutover and a scavenger hunt.
