Landing in San Francisco without a parking ticket
In most of San Francisco, a moving truck needs the curb reserved: the SFMTA issues temporary no-parking permits for moving day, and buildings on busy streets effectively require them. Order the permit at least a week ahead. We will tell you exactly how much curb the truck needs. Oakland and Berkeley have similar programs on major streets; suburban Peninsula and South Bay addresses rarely need anything.
