The farmers market closes core blocks on Saturday mornings. We book around it, or start early enough that the truck is positioned before the barricades go up.

The neighborhood runs two kinds of moves. The towers along India, Columbia, and Kettner work like downtown: certificate of insurance, freight elevator reservation, a dock or curb plan approved by the building. The older walk-ups and mid-century buildings tucked between them work like a beach town: narrow stairs, no elevator, and a curb you have to earn. We quote both accurately because we ask the access questions up front.
Saturdays are the neighborhood's own thing. The Little Italy Mercato closes blocks of the core to traffic on Saturday mornings, and a move booked blind into that footprint starts an hour late at best. When you book with us we check the date against the Mercato and the neighborhood's event calendar and set the window so the truck actually gets to your building.
