East Village and Marina District high-rises want a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator, and often a specific loading-dock slot. Miss your window and the building makes you wait. We send the COI the day you book, reserve the elevator with management, and build the dock time into the schedule.
Uptown's older housing fights back
North Park, Hillcrest, and University Heights are full of 1920s Craftsmans and Spanish walk-ups: narrow doorways, steep porch stairs, alley-access garages, and street parking that vanishes by mid-morning. We scout access ahead, stage early, and pad every door jamb because those original frames don't forgive.
UTC and the condo corridor
Newer towers around UTC and Mission Valley have underground garages with clearance bars no moving truck fits under. The crew carries from street level or a designated loading zone, and the HOA usually wants paperwork first. We handle both before move day so the clock isn't running on logistics.
Canyons and coastal hills change the carry
