Auto transport built around your San Diego move
When you book car transportation with your move, one coordinator manages both schedules. That means your vehicle is picked up around your load day, not whenever a broker happens to find a truck, and you are not left without a car for a week on the wrong end of the move.
We arrange transport through FMCSA-registered carriers we have vetted and verified for insurance. Most requests come with long-distance moves, interstate mini moves, military PCS transfers, and overseas relocations, but we can coordinate a standalone vehicle shipment too.
Open versus enclosed transport
Open transport is the standard: your car rides on the same style of multi-level carrier that delivers new vehicles to dealerships. It is the most affordable option and fine for the vast majority of daily drivers, though the car is exposed to weather and road dust in transit.
Enclosed transport puts your vehicle inside a hard-sided trailer. It costs meaningfully more and makes sense for classics, low-clearance sports cars, and high-value vehicles where a stone chip is not an acceptable risk. We will tell you honestly which option your car actually needs.

The usual play is scheduling vehicle pickup a day or two before you fly or drive out of San Diego, so the car lands close to when you do. Seasonal moves, snowbird routes, and PCS orders each have their own timing quirks, and we plan around them. If the vehicle does not run, say so up front: non-running cars need a carrier with a winch, and surprises at pickup cause delays and fees.
