The Village, the Shores, and UTC move differently.
A Village apartment move is a parking-and-stairs problem. Many buildings off Girard and Prospect date to the 1920s through the 1960s, narrow staircases, no elevator, no loading area, and street parking that's gone by mid-morning. We stage early, keep the carry path short, and never charge extra for stairs or long carries, so an old walk-up doesn't punish you at the invoice.
The Shores and the coastal towers are the opposite: the building has an elevator, and the building controls it. Management typically wants a certificate of insurance on file and a reserved elevator window before a crew touches a box. We send the COI the same day we book your date and lock in the window, so the clock isn't spent waiting in a lobby.
Up the hill, the complexes around UTC run on lease cycles, June and September fill fast with university and hospital turnover. Those buildings mean parking passes, gate codes, and third-floor units off a breezeway. Book a week or two ahead in those months; we hold same-week slots most of the rest of the year.
