Furniture is the whole job, so we treat it that way.

Boxes forgive mistakes; furniture doesn't. A couch grabbed at the wrong angle becomes a torn seam, a doorframe gouge, and an argument with your landlord. So every piece we touch gets the same sequence: pad, wrap, then lift, 200+ moving blankets ride on every truck, and shrink wrap holds the pads on so the protection can't slide off halfway down the stairs.

Disassembly is standard, not an upsell. Bed frames, dining tables, sectionals that only entered the room in pieces, the crew carries a full tool set, takes doors off hinges when the math demands it, and reassembles everything at the destination. Hardware goes in labeled bags taped to the piece it belongs to, which sounds obvious until you've met a mover who doesn't do it.

One piece or a hundred, both are real jobs to us.

Plenty of furniture moves aren't full moves: the Craigslist dresser across town, the sleeper sofa to a kid's first apartment, the marketplace find that doesn't fit in an SUV. Our single-item and small-move crews handle those at hourly rates with the same padding standards as a full house.

Oversized and delicate pieces, pianos, armoires, stone tables, art, route to the specialty team with the equipment for them. If a piece needs crating, we crate it. If it needs a fourth set of hands, we send them. The quote covers all of it up front, fuel itemized, within one business hour.

FAQ

Furniture moving, answered.

Will you move just one piece of furniture?
Happily, single-item moves are a real slice of our schedule. It's priced hourly with a small-crew minimum, and the piece gets the same pad-and-wrap treatment as a full house move.
Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?
Yes, as part of the job. Beds, tables, sectionals, IKEA pieces that never should have been assembled the first time, the crew brings tools, bags the hardware, and puts it all back together at the other end.
What about really heavy or valuable pieces?
Tell us in the quote and we plan for them. Pianos, safes, and anything needing crating go through our specialty crew with the right equipment, it's a line item you approve before move day, never a surprise on it.
