Carmel Valley's housing stock is remarkably consistent: two-story family homes built from the 1990s onward in planned neighborhoods, plus townhome clusters with shared driveways. That consistency lets us plan tightly. Upstairs bedrooms mean beds, dressers, and desks come down a switchback staircase, we pad the banister and rail, protect the treads, and never charge extra for stair carries, because in this neighborhood that would mean charging everyone.
The sleeper time-sink is the tandem garage. The back third is where the treadmill, the bikes, and a decade of storage bins live, and it's almost always underestimated in a self-count. Our quote walk covers the garage on purpose, so the written number reflects the real house.

Many Carmel Valley communities limit when moving trucks can arrive, where they can stand, and how long they can stay on the street. We confirm the rules with your HOA or property manager when we book, stage in the driveway when the street is off-limits, and size the crew so the whole move fits the allowed window.
Families here also move on a school calendar, which packs our summer schedule, book a week or two out for June through August. The rest of the year, same-week dates are normal, and the trip from our Miramar warehouse is about ten minutes up the 805 and 56, which keeps travel costs low on your itemized quote.
